Pasta with Beef


For those who like something to mix up with beef, something like pasta or macaroni perhaps ;), here's an easy beef recipes to taste it. Happy cooking.

Beef Pasta Bake

Ingredients:

  • 100g spiral pasta
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 rashers bacon, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 300g mushrooms, sliced
  • 500g mince meat(beef)
  • 440g tomato soup
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Steps:
  1. Cook pasta, and drain it; then put into baking dish.
  2. Heat oil, add onion, bacon & garlic.
  3. Cook until onion is soft, add mushrooms & cook further 2-3 mins.
  4. Add mince,cook till brown.
  5. Stir in tomato soup, tomato paste & oregano.
  6. Cover & simmer 10 mins.
  7. Add pasta & mix well.
  8. Spoon into baking dish, top with cheese & bake until cheese melts.


Macaroni Beef

Ingredients:
  • 500g elbow pasta
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500g mince meat(beef)
  • 1 x 410g can tomatoes
  • 1 pkt French Onion Soup
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • ½ tsp basil
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 tbs chopped parsley

Steps:
  1. Cook pasta, drain.
  2. Heat oil & cook onion & garlic, add mince & cook till brown.
  3. Stir in undrained, chopped tomatoes, soup, water, tomato paste & herbs.
  4. Bring to boil, stir in pasta & heat through.

Beef Curry

Here's the first beef recipes. Simple and delicious to try... Enjoy cooking :)

Ingredients:

  • 500g blade steak
  • 1 tbs margarine
  • 1 onion,finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbs ground coriander
  • 1 heaped tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 6 thin slices fresh root ginger
  • 2 fresh green chillies, finely chopped
  • pinch of ground chillies
  • 2 tsp desiccated coconut
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • ½ cup coconut cream
  • salt

Steps:
  1. Melt the margarine in a large heavy pot, then gently sauté the onion & garlic for 3-4 mins.
  2. Add the coriander, turmeric, cumin, pepper,ginger, chopped and ground chillies and the steak. Stir to coat the steak and let it cook for another 5 mins.
  3. Pour in the water, cover and simmer over a low heat until the steak in tender.
  4. When it is almost cooked, sprinkle with the coconut and stir in the coconut cream.
  5. Continue cooking until done.
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle with a little salt.

Bronzed Chicken Wings with Young Ginger

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds Chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup Dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Corn oil
  • 2 teaspoons Minced fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Dry sherry
  • 1/4 pound Very small mushrooms
  • 1/2 Sliced bamboo shoots
  • 2 Green onions -- cut in 2"
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water

Steps:

  1. Cut wing tips off chicken wings and place in shallow baking dish. 
  2. In small bowl, stir together corn syrup and soy sauce. 
  3. Pour over chicken wings; toss to coat well. 
  4. Marinate 30 minutes. Drain; reserve marinade.
  5. In large heavy skillet, heat corn oil over medium heat. 
  6. Add chicken wings and ginger; stir fry 2 minutes. 
  7. Stir in reserved marinade and sherry. 
  8. Add mushrooms, bamboo shoots and green onions; stirring frequently, cook 2 minutes. 
  9. Add chicken broth. 
  10. Bring to boil and reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender. 
  11. Remove chicken wings to serving platter, keep warm.
  12. Stir together cornstarch and water until smooth. 
  13. Stir into skillet.
  14. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.
  15. Spoon over chicken wings. 
  16. Lastly, makes 4 servings.

Broiled Chicken Wings

Hi there..here's another simple chicken recipe. It is really easy to cook...do enjoy this super easy delicious chicken recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon catsup
Steps:
  1. Remove tips from wings; cut wings into 2 pieces, and place in a shallow dish.
  2. Combine lemon juice, soy sauce, and onion powder; pour over chicken.
  3. Cover and marinate wings in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
  4. Drain chicken wings, reserving 1 tablespoon marinade; place wings on a foil-lined broiler pan.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine reserved marinade, honey, and catsup, stirring well; brush half of mixture on chicken wings.
  7. Broil 6 to 7 inches from broiler for 7 minutes.
  8. Turn and brush with remaining sauce; broil 7 additional minutes.
