Simple Salad Recipes 2

Here's another simple salad recipes to try out, layered salad, pasta salad and coleslaw. Salad is good for those who's on diet ;). Happy cooking.

Layered Salad

Ingredients:

  • ½ lettuce
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 2 hard boiled eggs, sieved
  • 250g sliced mushrooms
  • 125g grated cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbs sour cream
  • 2 tsp French mustard
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • 6 shallots
  • tomato wedges
  • 4 rashers bacon in crispy bits
Steps:
  1. Place lettuce in large, see through, bowl.
  2. Top with peas.
  3. Mix the sieved eggs with the mushrooms, put on top of peas, follow with cheese.
  4. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream & French mustard, lemon juice & shallots.
  5. Put on top of cheese.
  6. Refrigerate several hours.
  7. Top with tomato wedges & bacon crispy bits.

Pasta Salad
Ingredients:
  • 225g pasta
  • 125g frozen corn
  • 125g frozen peas
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 4 sticks celery, sliced
  • 1 capsicum, diced
  • 6 spring onions, sliced
  • 2 tbs parsley
Dressing:
  • 225g mayonnaise
  • 3 tbs single cream
Steps:
  1. Cook pasta, drain & cool.
  2. Add vegetables.
  3. Mix mayonnaise and cream.
  4. Add to pasta & vegetables.
  5. Add more cream if necessary.
  6. Season with salt & pepper.

Coleslaw

Ingredients:
  • ¼ red cabbage
  • ¼ green cabbage
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 1 Spanish onion
  • 2 medium carrots
Dressing:
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • salt & pepper
Steps:
  1. Mix vegetables together.
  2. Mix dressing ingredients together.
  3. Add dressing to vegetables and fold through.
  4. Chill.

Simple Salad Recipes 1


This week cooking all recipes gonna post recipes for salads. Let you all try the simply delicious salad recipes. Presenting the simple salad recipes 1 - garden medley salad, pasta & bacon salad and three bean salad.

Garden Medley
Salad
Ingredients:

  • 1 lettuce, shredded
  • 1 x 300g pkt frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • Thousand Island Dressing
Steps:
  1. Combine lettuce, mixed vegetables & tomatoes.
  2. Pour over sufficient dressing to moisten, toss lightly. Serves 4-6


Pasta & Bacon Salad

Ingredients:
  • 250g shell pasta
  • 1 cup peas
  • 125g bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1 onion
  • 1 stick celery
  • ½ capsicum
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 150ml mayonnaise
  • 150ml cream
  • 100g carrots, grated
Steps:
  1. Cook shells in enough hot water to cover, add the oil, cook on High 8-9 mins.
  2. Stir, add the peas & carrots, cook further 4-5 mins.
  3. Leave covered to finish cooking while you prepare the rest of the vegetables.
  4. Finely slice the celery, dice capsicum & finely chop the onion.
  5. Cook bacon on layers of kitchen paper till crumbly, about 3-4 mins on High.
  6. Drain pasta if necessary, stir in rest of the vegetables & bacon, drain the pineapple & add, stir in mayonnaise & cream mixture.
  7. Chill.


Three Bean Salad
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup noodles or macaroni
  • 310g corn kernels
  • 1 red capsicum, diced
  • 440g three bean mix
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • 3 spring onions, sliced
  • 2 sticks celery, sliced
Dressing:
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp curry
Steps:
  1. Place noodles into boiling salted water, cook, drain.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Combine dressing ingredients in a jar.
  5. Shake well.
  6. Pour over salad and blend through.
  7. Chill.

Baked Chicken And Mushrooms

Hey all...this is one of favourite dish to cook. Its very simple and easy to prepare and cook.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 broiler−fryer chicken, cut up or 2 1/2 lbs chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

Steps:
  1. Melt butter in 13" X 9" baking pan.
  2. Stir in thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge chicken pieces in flour, then swish in butter (both sides), until coated.
  4. Arrange them in a baking dish. Bake in hot oven (400F) until browned, about 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F, turn over chicken pieces, and add mushrooms and wine.
  5. Cover dish with foil and continue baking about 30 minutes longer.

Simple Seafood Recipes

Here are simple seafood recipes; cajun baked fish, oysters kilpatrick and curried prawns. It's very simple to cook any of this seafood recipes. Well, cooking-allrecipes blog hope you all enjoy this recipes...Bon Appétit!


Cajun Baked Fish
Ingredients:

  • 4 med fish fillets
  • Cajun seasoning
  • slices of fresh lemon
Steps:
  1. Lay fish fillets on a sheet of lightly oiled foil each.
  2. Top each fillet with a little Cajun seasoning mix and a few slices of fresh lemon.
  3. Fold foil over to enclose, pop onto a tray and bake 180ºC 15- 20 mins.
  4. Serve with salad & potato wedges.


Oysters Kilpatrick
Ingredients:
  • 12 oysters on shells
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tbs tomato sauce
  • 4 tbs grated cheese
  • salt & pepper
  • butter
Steps:
  1. Place oysters on grilling tray.
  2. Add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Cover with tomato sauce & sprinkle with grated cheese.
  4. Place a sml knob of butter on top.
  5. Bake for 5 mins @ 180ºC or grill for a few minutes.


Curried Prawns
Ingredients:
  • 60g butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green apple, chopped
  • 1 ½ tsp curry powder
  • 3 heaped tsp flour
  • 350 ml milk
  • 350 ml water
  • salt & pepper
Steps:
  1. Put butter, onion, apple & curry powder in a fry pan and cook for 3 mins.
  2. Add flour, and cook for 1 min.
  3. Add combined water & milk gradually, stir until it thickens.
  4. Add prawns & salt & pepper.
  5. Heat through.

Simple Sauce Recipes


Hi all, sorry for not update cooking all recipes blog for quiet some time. Today post is about simple sauce recipes - basic white sauce, sweet & sour sauce, steak diane sauce, sour cream and gravy. All this sauces can be pour into your cook dish such as fish, chicken or beef. Well, cooking all recipes blog hope you all enjoy this simple sauce recipes.




Basic White Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs butter
  • 2 tbs flour
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
Steps:
  1. Place butter in a 4 cup jug.
  2. Cook on high for 30-40 secs.
  3. Stir in flour, salt & pepper.
  4. Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth.
  5. Cook on high for 3-4 mins, stirring twice.

Sweet & Sour Sauce
Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cups tomato sauce
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ to 1 cup pineapple juice
  • capsicum
  • celery
  • onion
  • carrot
  • pineapple
Steps:
  1. Cut up vegetables.
  2. Bring sauce, sugar, vinegar, water & pineapple juice to the boil, then thicken with cornflour mixed with a little water.
  3. Simmer, add cut up vegetables and cook until vegetables are almost cooked.
  4. This will last in fridge for about 3 weeks.

Steak Diane Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups claret
  • 2 cups Fountain Tomato sauce
  • ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic
Steps:
  1. Mix all together in a bowl then store in a screw topped jar in fridge.
  2. When using, heat up and add a little fresh cream if desired. (Will keep in fridge for months)

Sour Cream
Ingredients:
  • 5ml lemon juice
  • 150mg fresh cream
Step:
  1. Stir juice into cream, stand 30 mins.

Gravy

Ingredients:
  • 6 heaped tsp Gravox
  • 1 tsp beef stock powder
  • 350ml water
Step:
  1. Blend together, cook in microwave, stirring each minute.

Simple Lamb Recipes

Today recipes, few simple lamb recipes to cook, such as baked short loin chops, lamb chop casserole and lamb shanks with BBQ sauce.

Baked Short Loin Chops

Ingredients:

  • 9 short loin shops, trimmed
  • 1 pkt French onion soup
  • 410g tin tomatoes

Steps:
  1. Combine soup & tomatoes.
  2. Place loin chops in a glass baking dish, pour over soup and tomatoes and bake in a mod oven until meat is tender.
  3. Serve with vegetables (serves 4-6).


Lamb Chop Casserole


Ingredients:
  • 60g long grain rice
  • 2 level tsp mixed herbs
  • 1 lge onion
  • 4 lean lamb chops
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • equal amount of water

Steps:
  1. Place in casserole.
  2. Bake 175ºC for 1 hour then 160ºC for another hour.


Lamb Shanks & BBQ Sauce


Ingredients:
  • 4 tbs marg
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 4 rashers bacon
  • 6 lamb shanks
  • seasoned flour
  • 440ml Tomato soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 3 tbs shredded green pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Steps:
  1. Melt butter & sauté onion & bacon.
  2. Remove.
  3. Roll shanks in seasoned flour & place in pan.
  4. Sauté.
  5. Drain off excess fat.
  6. Mix tomato soup, water, salt, sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, onion & bacon. Pour over shanks & simmer 2 hours over direct heat.
  7. Serve with rice & green peppers (serves 4-5).

Variety Simple Egg Recipes

40 Second Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbs water
  • margarine
  • Filling: ham, cheese & tomato

Steps:
  1. Beat eggs & water together lightly with fork.
  2. Heat a little margarine in a non-stick frypan & when hot add egg mixture.
  3. When mixture starts to bubble, scrape it in towards the middle of the pan with spatula.
  4. When mixture is cooked on the bottom but slightly wet on top, add your filling down one side, close the omelette & slide onto place.
  5. Don't overcook, 40 seconds only.


Chinese Omelettes

Ingredients:

  • 8 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • ½ cup red capsicum, chopped
  • 4 green shallots, sliced
  • 2 tbs oil

Sauce:
  • 3 tsp cornflour
  • 1 chicken stock cube, crumbled
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 3 tsp soy sauce

Steps:
  1. Combine eggs, lettuce, sprouts, pepper & shallots in bowl.
  2. Heat ½ tbs of the oil in pan & pour ¼ of the egg mixture into pan, cook until set & lightly brown underneath, turn over & brown.
  3. Remove & keep warm.
  4. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  5. Sauce: Combine all ingredients in pan, stir over heat until it boils & thickens.
  6. Serve the cooking dish with sauce.


Curried Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 level tbs butter
  • 1 onion
  • 1 apple
  • 2 level tsp curry powder
  • 2 level tbs flour
  • 1 level tsp salt
  • 2 level tsp sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
Steps:
  1. Hard boil the eggs, cool & shell.
  2. Melt butter in pan, add diced onions & apple & fry lightly until golden in colour.
  3. Add curry powder, salt, sugar & flour.
  4. Gradually add milk & water, stirring all the time.
  5. Cook gently with lid until apple & onion are soft, add eggs.


King Size Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 12 eggs
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 2 slices diced ham
  • 2 rashers diced bacon
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced mushrooms
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • parsley flakes
  • pinch mixed herbs

Steps:
  1. Beat eggs in large bowl.
  2. Melt butter in frypan & pour eggs in.
  3. Sprinkle with all the other ingredients.
  4. Cook in frypan 30 mins until omelette has risen and is firm to touch.


Scrambled Eggs - Microwave

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tbs chopped parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • salt
  • pepper
Steps:
  1. Put milk, parsley, salt & pepper & eggs in microwave jug, whisk lightly.
  2. Cook on High 1 min.
  3. Stir gently with a fork.
  4. Cook 1 min more.
  5. Watch it, when egg swells, take out.
  6. Stir gently and serves 1.

Variety Simple Beef Recipes

Ok here another set of variety simple beef recipes ~ honey beef shaslicks, spicy peppered steak, Indonesia beef, turmeric chilli beef, beef in red wine, curried beef and vegetables and sate beef.

Honey Beef Shaslicks
Ingredients:

  • 60g butter
  • 1 ½ cups sliced onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 x 425g Apricot Nectar
  • 3 tbs malt vinegar
  • 6 tbs honey
  • 1 tbs sherry
  • 1 kg steak cut into 24 cubes
  • 5 lge bananas, cut into 3
Steps:
  1. Melt butter, sauté onions & garlic until soft.
  2. Remove from heat , stir in 1 cup apricot nectar, vinegar, honey & sherry.
  3. Add beef & banana chunks. Marinate 3-4 hours or overnight.
  4. Thread beef & bananas onto skewers & grill for 10-15 mins frequently brushing with marinade & turning to brown on all sides. (Serves for 6)


Spicy Peppered Steak
Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ tbs black pepper
  • 750g topside steak
  • 1 sml red pepper, sliced
  • 1 sml green pepper, chopped
  • 6 green shallots, chopped
  • 1 ½ tbs cornflour
  • ½ cup water
  • 3 tsp grated ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tsp oil
Steps:
  1. Sprinkle black pepper evenly on both sides of steak & press firmly onto steak.
  2. Cut steak into thin slices.
  3. Combine steak with peppers & shallots in a large shallow dish.
  4. Blend cornflour with water, stir in ginger, garlic, soy sauce & oil, add to steak, mix well.
  5. Cover dish, cook on high 10 mins, stir occasionally.
  6. Reduce to Medium, cook 10 mins, stir occasionally.

Indonesian Beef
Ingredients:
  • 750g steak, diced or in strips
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 pkt Dutch Curry & Rice soup
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored & sliced
Steps:
  1. Place all ingredients into a casserole dish.
  2. Cover, cook on High 5 mins, then Med for 30-35 mins.


Turmeric Chilli Beef
Ingredients:
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 kg steak, cubed
  • 2 tbs turmeric
  • 440g can tomatoes
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 4 tbs lemon juice
  • 2 tbs chilli sauce
  • 1 tbs brown sugar
  • 1 tbs grated ginger
  • 2 tsp beef stock powder
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • salt
  • chilli powder
Steps:
  1. Sauté onions in oil until golden.
  2. Remove from pan.
  3. Dust meat liberally in turmeric.
  4. Cook in same pan until well browned.
  5. Return onions to pan with tomatoes, water, lemon juice, chilli sauce, sugar,
  6. ginger, beef stock, garlic, salt & chilli powder.
  7. Simmer covered 35-40 mins.


Beef in Red Wine
Ingredients:
  • 750g cubed topside
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 pkt French Onion soup
  • 1 x 425g can tomatoes
  • 1 x 220g can mushrooms
  • ¼ cup red wine
Steps:
  1. Brown beef in oil.
  2. Place in casserole.

Curried Beef & Vegetables (Stew)
Ingredients:
  • 500g steak
  • 2 lge sectioned onions
  • 1 lge carrot
  • 4 tbs tomato paste
  • 5 tsp beef stock powder
  • 1 tbs curry powder
  • 1 tsp salt pepper
  • 5 cups water
  • oil
  • 4 cups mixed vegetables
  • 6 rounded tbs plain flour
  • extra water
Steps:
  1. Heat oil, sauté onion, brown meat, add curry powder, stock powder, salt & pepper, blend, than add carrots, tomato paste & 5 cups water.
  2. Simmer 30-60 mins.
  3. Add mixed vegetables, simmer further 30mins.
  4. Thicken with flour & extra water (1 cup).


Sate Beef
Ingredients:
  • 500g good steak, sliced thinly
  • 1 ½ tsp soy sauce
  • pepper
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 2 tbs oil
Ingredient for the Sauce:
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 med onion
  • 3 tsp sate sauce
  • 2 tsp dry sherry
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • salt
  • 2 tbs water
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar

Steps:
  1. Put sliced meat in bowl.
  2. Add soy sauce, pepper, sesame oil, cornflour & water.
  3. Mix & stand for 20 mins.
  4. Heat oil in pan, sauté meat until brown.
  5. Remove from pan.
  6. Peel & roughly dice onion.
  7. Add to pan with garlic.
  8. Combine sate sauce, sherry, sugar, curry powder, salt, water & soy sauce.
  9. Add to onions in pan.
  10. Stir until boiling.
  11. Return beef to pan & heat through.

Nachos with Guacamole and Cheese

For those who like to try mexican dish/appetizer, here's nachos with guacamole and cheese. Happy trying and cooking ;) Ingredients:

  • 500g mince
  • 30g butter
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 400g can tomatoes
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 300g red kidney beans, drained
  • 200g pkt corn chips
  • 1 ½ cups grated cheese
  • Guacamole: 1 avocado, 1/3 to ½ cup mayonnaise, Few drop Tabasco, 2 tsp lemon juice.
Steps:
  1. Melt butter, cook onions (microwave High 3 mins), add chilli, paprika & garlic (microwave High 1 min), add mince (microwave High 4 mins).
  2. Add undrained, crushed tomatoes & rinsed kidney beans (microwave High 10 mins).
  3. Arrange corn chips on large dish.
  4. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese. (Microwave on High 1 min).
  5. Spoon bean mixture into center of corn chips, top with guacamole.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  7. Microwave on High 4 mins or until cheese melts.

Stir Fry Beef with Oyster Sauce

For chinese food lover, here's another simple beef recipes to taste, stir fry beef with oyster sauce. Ingredients are easy to get and steps are simple to follow. Enjoy the dish :).

Ingredients:

  • 600g lean beef strips
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 tsp grated green ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • ½ green capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 2 sml sticks celery, thinly sliced
  • 2 shallots, chopped
  • 200g snow peas
  • ½ cup Oyster Sauce
  • 100g button mushrooms, sliced(optional)

Steps:
  1. Heat half oil in frypan or wok, stir-fry beef strips, garlic & ginger 3mins.
  2. Remove and heat remaining oil.
  3. Stir-fry vegetables 2 mins.
  4. Return beef strips (the 1st step) into the stir-fry veg.
  5. Stir in Oyster Sauce and heat through 2-3 mins.

Savoury Glazed Meatloaf





Here's another alluring simple beef recipes to try, savoury glazed meatloaf.




Ingredients:

  • 750g mince
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt pepper
  • 1 med onion, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbs tomato sauce
  • 150ml Evaporated Milk
  • 1 dsp dry mustard
  • Glaze: ½ tsp dry mustard, ¼ cup tomato sauce, 1 tbs brown sugar.
Steps:
  1. Combine ingredients for glaze, set aside.
  2. Mix together all remaining ingredients, press into a greased 20 x 10 cm loaf tin, then turn upside down on to a greased, foil lined tray, leaving tin still over loaf.
  3. Bake in mod oven 15 mins.
  4. Remove from oven, remove tin.
  5. Brush with glaze.
  6. Cook for a further 50-60 mins.

Delicious Baked Curry

Here's another version of curry beef but this one is a Delicious Baked Curry. This recipe can be serve for 4-6 people. Its simply delicious baked curry beef ;).

Ingredients:

  • 500g steak
  • plain flour
  • 1 tsp curry
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tsp tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water

Steps:
  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
  2. Cut steak in 2cm cubes & roll in flour.
  3. Place in casserole with curry, salt, sugar, vinegar & tomato sauce.
  4. Add water & pour over meat.
  5. Cover & bake in mod slow oven for 1 ½ hrs.
  6. Serve with boiled rice, peas or beans, boiled mashed pumpkin & carrots.

Beef Steak Surprise


Ever wanna try different beef steak? Well here's a simple beef recipe for a steak, Beef Steak Surprise, and this can be serve for 4 people.
It's really easy to prepare and cook, well hope you all enjoy this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lge onion
  • 750g steak
  • 1 pkt Mushroom Gravy Mix
  • 1 med tin mushrooms
  • ½ cup red wine (optional)
  • salt & pepper
  • parsley.
Steps:
  1. Preheat oven to 200ºC.
  2. Line deep baking dish with foil allowing enough overlap to wrap over top.
  3. Slice onions, arrange over bottom.
  4. Place steak on onions and sprinkle with gravy mix, mushrooms & wine.
  5. Add salt & pepper.
  6. Fold foil over, leaving no airholes.
  7. Bake in mod oven for 1 ½ hours or until tender.
  8. Serve with jacket potatoes with sour cream & green vegetables.

Pineapple Steak

This pineapple steak (one of the simple beef recipes) is a must to try, it taste delicious. And it also really easy to cook...Happy cooking :).

Ingredients:

  • 1kg blade steak
  • 1 pkt French Onion Soup
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbs vinegar
  • 2 tbs tomato sauce
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 440g can pineapple pieces

Steps:
  1. Cut steak into cubes, fry in a little oil until brown.
  2. Add soup mix & 2 cups water, curry powder, mustard & vinegar, then bring to boil & add
  3. sauces, simmer gently until tender (approximately 1 hour).
  4. Drain pineapple, add half juice & all pieces.
  5. If it needs thickening, use some cornflour mixed with juice.

Variety Beef Recipes

Here are another variety beef recipes..just choose one of it, and cook. It does only take a few minutes to cook it..happy cooking :)


Chinese Beef & Vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 500g steak, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp curry
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 tbs marg
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely sliced (or brocoli)
  • 1 red capsicum, cut to thin strips
  • 6 shallots, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced celery

Steps:
  1. Fry meat in oil in saucepan until it changes colour.
  2. Add garlic, soy, Worcestershire sauce, curry & stock cube.
  3. Cover & simmer 10 mins.
  4. Add marg, cabbage, capsicum, shallots & celery.
  5. Toss over heat 3-4 mins.


Pan Fried Beef & Mushrooms

Ingredients:
  • 4 tbs oil 3 onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 kg steak, cubed
  • 3 tbs cornflour
  • 1 190g tin mushrooms
  • 4 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 1 tbs sugar salt & pepper
Steps:
  1. Heat oil in pan & fry onions until soft & lightly brown.
  2. Remove. Fry the cubed beef until tender.
  3. Remove & drain oil.
  4. Make a gravy from all the rest of the ingredients.
  5. Return onion & beef to pan with gravy.
  6. Simmer 5 mins.


Chilli-Con-Carne

Ingredients:
  • 500 g mince
  • 1 lge onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 capsicum, chopped
  • 2 level tsp Mexican Chilli Powder
  • 440g tomato soup
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 440g kidney beans, drained

Steps:
  1. Cook onion, garlic & capsicum on High 5 mins, add mince & cook 8-
  2. 10 mins.
  3. Stir in tomato soup, beans & remaining ingredients.
  4. Cook on Med/High in about 10 mins.

Pasta with Beef


For those who like something to mix up with beef, something like pasta or macaroni perhaps ;), here's an easy beef recipes to taste it. Happy cooking.

Beef Pasta Bake

Ingredients:

  • 100g spiral pasta
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 rashers bacon, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 300g mushrooms, sliced
  • 500g mince meat(beef)
  • 440g tomato soup
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Steps:
  1. Cook pasta, and drain it; then put into baking dish.
  2. Heat oil, add onion, bacon & garlic.
  3. Cook until onion is soft, add mushrooms & cook further 2-3 mins.
  4. Add mince,cook till brown.
  5. Stir in tomato soup, tomato paste & oregano.
  6. Cover & simmer 10 mins.
  7. Add pasta & mix well.
  8. Spoon into baking dish, top with cheese & bake until cheese melts.


Macaroni Beef

Ingredients:
  • 500g elbow pasta
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500g mince meat(beef)
  • 1 x 410g can tomatoes
  • 1 pkt French Onion Soup
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • ½ tsp basil
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 tbs chopped parsley

Steps:
  1. Cook pasta, drain.
  2. Heat oil & cook onion & garlic, add mince & cook till brown.
  3. Stir in undrained, chopped tomatoes, soup, water, tomato paste & herbs.
  4. Bring to boil, stir in pasta & heat through.

Beef Curry

Here's the first beef recipes. Simple and delicious to try... Enjoy cooking :)

Ingredients:

  • 500g blade steak
  • 1 tbs margarine
  • 1 onion,finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbs ground coriander
  • 1 heaped tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 6 thin slices fresh root ginger
  • 2 fresh green chillies, finely chopped
  • pinch of ground chillies
  • 2 tsp desiccated coconut
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • ½ cup coconut cream
  • salt

Steps:
  1. Melt the margarine in a large heavy pot, then gently sauté the onion & garlic for 3-4 mins.
  2. Add the coriander, turmeric, cumin, pepper,ginger, chopped and ground chillies and the steak. Stir to coat the steak and let it cook for another 5 mins.
  3. Pour in the water, cover and simmer over a low heat until the steak in tender.
  4. When it is almost cooked, sprinkle with the coconut and stir in the coconut cream.
  5. Continue cooking until done.
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle with a little salt.

Bronzed Chicken Wings with Young Ginger

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds Chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup Dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Corn oil
  • 2 teaspoons Minced fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Dry sherry
  • 1/4 pound Very small mushrooms
  • 1/2 Sliced bamboo shoots
  • 2 Green onions -- cut in 2"
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water

Steps:

  1. Cut wing tips off chicken wings and place in shallow baking dish. 
  2. In small bowl, stir together corn syrup and soy sauce. 
  3. Pour over chicken wings; toss to coat well. 
  4. Marinate 30 minutes. Drain; reserve marinade.
  5. In large heavy skillet, heat corn oil over medium heat. 
  6. Add chicken wings and ginger; stir fry 2 minutes. 
  7. Stir in reserved marinade and sherry. 
  8. Add mushrooms, bamboo shoots and green onions; stirring frequently, cook 2 minutes. 
  9. Add chicken broth. 
  10. Bring to boil and reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender. 
  11. Remove chicken wings to serving platter, keep warm.
  12. Stir together cornstarch and water until smooth. 
  13. Stir into skillet.
  14. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.
  15. Spoon over chicken wings. 
  16. Lastly, makes 4 servings.

Broiled Chicken Wings

Hi there..here's another simple chicken recipe. It is really easy to cook...do enjoy this super easy delicious chicken recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon catsup
Steps:
  1. Remove tips from wings; cut wings into 2 pieces, and place in a shallow dish.
  2. Combine lemon juice, soy sauce, and onion powder; pour over chicken.
  3. Cover and marinate wings in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
  4. Drain chicken wings, reserving 1 tablespoon marinade; place wings on a foil-lined broiler pan.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine reserved marinade, honey, and catsup, stirring well; brush half of mixture on chicken wings.
  7. Broil 6 to 7 inches from broiler for 7 minutes.
  8. Turn and brush with remaining sauce; broil 7 additional minutes.

Blue Cornmeal Chicken Wings



Hi all, here's another simple yet delicious chicken recipes to try. Mind drop a comment 1 or 2 for this recipes..have a nice day ;).



Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Lime juice
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red pepper
  • 10 Chicken wings (about 2 lb)
  • 2 tablespoons Margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup Blue or yellow cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pepper

Steps:


  1. Mix lime juice, oil and red pepper in large glass or plastic bowl.
  2. Cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pieces.
  3. Discard tip.
  4. Cut off and discard excess skin.
  5. Place wings in oil mixture and stir to coat.
  6. Cover and refrig 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  7. Drain and heat oven to 425F.
  8. Heat margarine Shake remaining ingredients in plastic bag or mix in bowl.
  9. Shake wings in cornmeal mixture to coat and place in pan.
  10. Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes.
  11. Turn. Bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes longer.

Barbecue Chicken Wings

Today post a simple barbecue recipes for chicken,only requires marinating and long cooking time ;).

Barbecue Chicken Wings

  • 35 Chicken wings -- tips removed
  • 1 Stick butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Dry red wine
  • 2 teaspoons Dry mustard
  • 2 large Garlic cloves -- crushed
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh ground pepper to taste

Steps:
  1. Place chicken wings, disjointed, in large flat pan.
  2. Combine other ingredients and pour over chicken.
  3. Let stand for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  4. Be sure all wings are well coated with marinade.
  5. Place pan in 350 oven and reduce heat to 250.
  6. Bake 4-5 hours, turning wings at regular intervals.
  7. If all marinade is not absorbed, pour off and dry wings out a bit longer in oven (but not too much) before serving.

Barbecue Wing Dings

  • 3 pounds chicken wing
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 drops Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups ketchup
  • 1 onion

  1. Cut off the small piece of the chicken wing and the bony part so you have only the meaty part.
  2. Mix the ketchup, onion (cut up), brown sugar and sauce together.
  3. Dip wings in the sauce.
  4. Put on cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hour.
  6. If you have extra sauce, cook in saucepan until thick.

Chicken Wing Recipes

First post will be about chicken wing recipes. Got it from a friend who selling the e-book. Will post only few of it. Enjoy the recipes :)

Cajun Chicken Wings

  • 12 Chicken wings -- tips removed
  • 5 Bay leaves -- crumbled into bits
  • 3/4 teaspoon Caraway seeds
  • 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 3/4 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 4 Garlic cloves -- finely
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika -- preferably
  • 3/4 teaspoon Dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Brandy
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon or lime juice

Steps:

  1. Defat the chicken wings by cooking them in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and set aside to cool.
  3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  4. Using a large mortar and pestle, grind together the bay leaf bits, caraway seeds, cayenne pepper, coriander, cumin, garlic, mustard, paprika, thyme and salt for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add the brandy and lemon or lime juice to the pulverized herbs and stir into a thick paste.
  6. With a pastry brush, cover both sides of each wing with the herb paste.
  7. When no more remains in the mortar, squeeze the last few drops from the brush.
  8. Arrange the chicken wings on a baking sheet.
  9. Bake until the skin turns deep brown and is quite crisp approximately 30 minutes.
  10. Takes about an hour to prepare.
